Overview of SSC CPO Examination 2023
The SSC CPO (Central Police Organization) examination is conducted annually by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit Sub-Inspectors in various Central Armed Police Forces such as the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Additionally, the Delhi Police Sub-Inspector (SI) positions are also filled through this examination.
Every year, the Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CPO examination. The commission will soon announce the recruitment notification PDF, and it is expected to 1876 vacancies for various posts under SSC CPO Vacancy 2023. Interested candidates can fill out the form from 22th July 2023 to 13th August 2023 on www.ssc.nic.in. SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply, however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cut- off date is15.08.2023.
SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2023 Age Limit Details
- Age limit for the posts is 20-25 years; i.e. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2003 to be eligible to apply.
- Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories.

- Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.
- Sub-Inspector (Executive) - (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.

SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2023 Application Fee
- Fee payable: Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),
- Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
- Fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM
- UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay

II. Filling of online Application for the Examination
- Go to the official website of SSC and register for the exam by clicking on the “Register Now‟ link provided in the “Login” Section
- Add basic details, Additional details, and contact details, and upload a scanned image of a passport-size photograph and signature.
- After registration, Login to the online system through your Registration Number and password on the website of the Commission (ssc.nic.in).
- Click the ‘Apply’ link in the ‘Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2023‟ Section under the “Latest Notifications” tab.
- Fill in the asked details
- Go through the declaration carefully and click on the “I agree” check box if you accept the same. Fill up the Captcha code.
- Preview and verify the information provided by you and submit the Application.
- Submit a fee, if you are not exempted from payment of a fee.
- When the application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’. You should take the printout of the application form for their own records
