Executive Trainees: Qualification Details
- B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering)/5-year Integrated M.Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the 6 engineering disciplines mentioned in the Table below from a University/Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC. A minimum of 60% marks means the marks per the respective university’s ordinances.
- Applicants must have a valid GATE-2022, GATE-2023 or GATE-2024 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.
- Engineering degrees allowed for each discipline are as follows:
- Mechanical: Mechanical/Production
- Chemical: Chemical/Electro-Chemical Engineering
- Electrical: Electrical/Electrical & Electronics
- Electronics: Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics & Controls/Electronics &/Instrumentation/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics System Engineering

NPCIL Recruitment 2024 : Stipend - During Training :
• Monthly Stipend – Rs.55,000/-
• One time Book Allowance – Rs.18,000/-

NPCIL Recruitment 2024 : Payment of Application fee (if Fee is Applicable)
Only male candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories are required to make a non-refundable payment of Rs.500/- towards application fee with the applicable bankcharges. The application fee can be paid on any day between 10/04/2024 (1000 hrs. onwards) to 30/04/2024 (till 1600 hrs.) only.
Selection Process for NPCIL Recruitment 2024:
- Shortlisting of candidates for personal interviews for the Executive Trainee 2024 posts will be done in the order of merit drawn based on valid GATE 2022, GATE 2023 and GATE 2024 Scores by applying the ratio of 1:12.
- If there are more than 01 candidates with the same cut-off mark (while shortlisting for interview), then all the candidates with the same mark will be shortlisted for interview.
- Candidates obtaining valid GATE 2022, GATE 2023 and GATE 2024 scores shall only be eligible for this recruitment exercise in NPCIL under this advertisement. GATE score of 2021 or previous GATE examination shall not be entertained.
- Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2022, GATE 2023 and GATE 2024 Scores.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) will be shortlisted separately by applying a 1:12 ratio in each disability category for which vacancies are reserved.
- Discipline and category-wise cut-offs shall be displayed on NPCIL’s recruitment web portal. The result of shortlisting for interviews shall be made available to candidates under the ‘Application Status’ link through individual login on the npcil careers page.
- Intimation of the interview date/time/venue will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through Email/SMS.
- Call letters for appearing for interviews will be made available for shortlisted candidates on the website for downloading.
