The age limit set by the commission varies according to different posts. . Candidates must have been born earlier than 02-08-1994 but not later than 01-08-2006. Age relaxations will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.

SSC JE Recruitment 2024 Latest Application fee Details
- Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),
- Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD) and ExServicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
- Fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card.

All interested candidates can apply for the examination by using the official website of the Staff Selection Commission. There are steps mentioned below to apply for the SSC Junior Engineer Examination, candidates can follow these:-
- Those candidates who have not generated their OTR ( One Time Registration) ID on the new website of SSC will need to create one before starting to apply for posts.
- Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
- Enter the Registration ID (Username) and password generated at the time of OTR registration.
- Now, a screen appears, select the “SSC Junior Engineer Examination 2024”.
- Read the instructions shown on the page and then click OK.
- Fill out all the details carefully and save the details after submitting the required documents.
- Attach a recent passport-size photograph and signature.
- Click on the submit button after verifying the details.
- Applications submitted successfully, download the applications.
- Candidates are advised to take out a print of the application form for future reference.
