Endurance Test: Candidates must qualify in endurance tests which include running, long jump, high jump, and other physical tasks.
Physical Efficiency Test:-
Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the physical efficiency test of National One
Star standard showing the minimum standards of efficiency as noted below
1 100 Metres Run- 14 Seconds
2 High Jump -132.20 cm
3 Long Jump -457.20 cm
4 Putting the Shot -(7264 gms) 609.60 cm

Must have proficiency in swimming.
Note: The proficiency in swimming will be tested by a practical test conducted by the Commission. The following are the criteria for the swimming test.
(i) 50 m swimming trial to be completed within two minutes.
(ii) Two minutes floating ability at the deeper side of the swimming pool.
Candidate must qualify both the events to be considered as qualified in the swimming test.
