Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university in Kerala.
- K.G.T.E. (Higher) in Typewriting (English) and Shorthand (English) or equivalent.
- Desirable: Certificate in Computer Word Processing.
Age Limit:
- SC/ST: Born between 02/01/1984 and 01/01/2007
- OBC: Born between 02/01/1986 and 01/01/2007
Ex-servicemen, differently-abled, widows: Additional age relaxations are applicable (maximum age limit – 50 years).
Selection Process:
- Dictation Test (100 marks)
- Interview (10 marks)
Candidates must score at least 50% marks in both dictation and interview to qualify.
Dictation Test: A passage of about 1100–1200 words will be dictated for 10 minutes at 100–120 wpm. Candidates must transcribe it using a computer within 2.5 hours.
