The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has officially invited online applications for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade-II/Executive (ACIO-II/Exe) in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).   •     Pay Level: Level-7 (₹44,900 - ₹1,42,400) + admissible Central Govt. allowances
  •     Vacancies: Total –3717

 Educational Qualification

  •     Essential: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university
  •     Desirable: Knowledge of computers


Age Limit (As on 10.08.2025)

    General: 18–27 years
    Relaxation:
        SC/ST: +5 years
        OBC: +3 years
        Departmental candidates: up to 40 years
        Meritorious sportspersons & Ex-servicemen: as per govt. rules

 

Exam Pattern
Tier-I (Objective Type – 100 Marks, 1 Hour)
 100 MCQs (1 mark each) Sections:

  •         General Awareness
  •         Quantitative Aptitude
  •         Logical/Numerical/Analytical Ability
  •         English Language
  •         General Studies

Tier-II (Descriptive – 50 Marks, 1 Hour)
    Essay (30 marks) + English comprehension & précis (20 marks)
Tier-III (Interview – 100 Marks)

Examination Fees

  • SC/ST/Female/Ex-SM    ₹550 only
