Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released the official notification inviting applications for the post of Nurse in the Local Self Government Department. Eligible candidates can apply online through the PSC official website after completing the One Time Registration.

Age Limit
- 18 – 36 years (Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007, both dates inclusive).
- Usual age relaxation is available for OBC, SC/ST candidates.
- Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years under any circumstances.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- SSLC or equivalent qualification
- Any one of the following certificates:
- Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (Revised Course) – 18 months, issued by Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council, OR
- Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (Revised Course) – 18 months, issued by an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council, OR
- Health Workers Training Certificate issued by the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council.
- Registration in the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council
- Equivalent/higher qualifications as declared by Government orders will also be accepted.

- No application fee is required.
- Photograph uploaded should meet PSC standards (valid for 10 years from date taken).
- Candidates should ensure all details entered are correct before submission.
- Examination Process
- If a Written Test/OMR/Online Exam is conducted, candidates must confirm their participation through their PSC profile within the given period.
- Only candidates who confirm will be able to download the Admission Ticket.
- Important Dates
- Last date for online application: 03.10.2025, Friday, up to 12 midnight
Special Instructions
- Caste/Community discrepancies must be supported with a Gazette notification along with the necessary certificates.
