AFCAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality
• Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Age Limit

Flying Branch

• 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2027
• Born between 02 July 2003 and 01 July 2007

Candidates holding a valid Commercial Pilot License can apply up to 26 years.

Ground Duty Branches

• 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2027
• Born between 02 July 2001 and 01 July 2007

Educational Qualification

Flying Branch

Candidates must have:

• Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level AND Graduation in any discipline OR
• BE/B.Tech degree

Technical Branch

Engineering candidates from disciplines such as:

• Computer Science
• AI & Machine Learning
• Electronics
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Aeronautical Engineering
• Mechatronics

Non-Technical Branches
