Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Recruitment 2023 ,300 Workmen Vacancy : Qualification & Experience

(i) The minimum qualification stipulated for all the posts must be from an Institute / Examination Board recognized by AICTE / appropriate statutory authority / State / Central Government.

(ii) Those applicants having qualifications equivalent to any of the prescribed qualifications should submit Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority and without such certificate, their candidature shall not be considered.

Sheet Metal Worker:

Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker or Fitter.
Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in fabrication, i.e. cutting, fit up and welding process.

Welder :

Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Welder/ Welder (Gas & Electric).
Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade

Fitter :

Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Fitter.
Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

Mechanic Diesel:

Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Diesel.
Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

Mechanic Motor Vehicle :

Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Motor Vehicle.
Minimum of three years postqualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

Plumber :

Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Plumber.
Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade.

Painter :

Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Painter.
Minimum of three years post qualification experience / training in the relevant trade

Electrician :

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) 300 Workmen Vacancy ; Age Limit

The upper age limit prescribed for all the posts shall not exceed 30 years as on 28 July 2023, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 29 July 1993.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.

The upper age limit shall be relaxable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) & Ex- servicemen as per Government of India guidelines subject to a maximum age of 45 years.

Application fee of ₹ 600/- (Non refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 14 July 2023 to 28 July 2023. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.

Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted frompayment of application fee.

All applicants for whom the fee is applicable i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST /PwBD should pay the application fee as stipulated above. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee.
