Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- To apply for this post, applicants must be:
- 18 to 36 years old, born between 02/01/1989 and 01/01/2007 (both dates included)
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university is mandatory.
- Candidates holding qualifications recognized as equivalent through Government Orders will also be considered acceptable.
Physical Standards
- Candidates must meet the following minimum physical requirements:

- Chest 81.3 cm (with minimum 5 cm expansion)
- Women and differently-abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates must qualify any 5 out of the 8 fitness events listed below:

- 100 Meter Run -14 seconds
- High Jump -132.20 cm
- Long Jump- 457.20 cm
- Shot Put (7.264 kg)- 609.60 cm
- Cricket Ball Throw -6096 cm
- Rope Climbing -365.80 cm
- Pull-ups/Chinning -8 times
- 1500 Meters Run -5 minutes 44 seconds
- Selected candidates will undergo training at the Regional/State Institute of Correctional Administration.
- They will be on probation for two years within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining.
