Educational Qualification
The required qualification varies according to the post. Candidates must possess the prescribed educational, technical or professional qualification on or before 14 October 2026. Candidates awaiting the final result of the required qualification are not eligible to apply.
1. Nursing Superintendent
Candidates should have either:
- Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife with a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course from a recognised institution, or
- B.Sc Nursing.
2. Dialysis Technician
Candidates should have:
- B.Sc. plus Diploma in Haemodialysis, or
- B.Sc. plus two years of satisfactory in-house training/experience in haemodialysis work in a reputed institution.
- B.Sc. in Dialysis Techniques, Dialysis Technology or Renal Dialysis Technology is also mentioned as eligible.
3. Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II
Required qualification includes:
- B.Sc. with Chemistry as a Main/Optional subject, and
- One-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspector, or
- One-year National Trade Certificate in Health Sanitary Inspector.
4. Audiologist & Speech Therapist
- Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognised university.
- Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is required.
5. Pharmacist (Entry Grade)
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised Central/State Government university or institute and registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, or
- Doctor of Pharmacy from a recognised university/institute and registration as a Pharmacist.
6. Radiographer X-Ray Technician
The notification prescribes:
- 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry, and
- Two-year Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology from a recognised institute.
- Certain specified B.Sc. and degree/diploma qualifications in radiography, medical imaging and radiation technology are also included in the eligibility provisions.
7. ECG Technician
Candidates require:
- 10+2 or Graduation in Science, and
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician or Cardiology Techniques from a reputed institution.
- The certificate is required to be of at least one-year duration.
8. Optometrist
Candidates should have:
- B.Sc. in Optometry, or
- Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician of 3–4 years duration.
- Registration with the concerned Council/Licensing Body is required.
9. Lab Assistant Grade II
Candidates should have:
- 12th/10+2 in Science, and
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), or an eligible Certificate Course in Medical Lab Technology meeting the conditions specified in the notification.
- The notification also mentions B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology as an eligible qualification along with 10+2 Science.
Important: Candidates should check Annexure A of CEN 05/2026 carefully against their exact qualification before applying.
Age Limit
The age will be calculated as on 1 January 2027. The basic age range depends on the post and is between 18 and 40 years.
Age Relaxation
The notification provides prescribed upper-age relaxation for eligible categories, including:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years for UR/EWS, 13 years for OBC-NCL and 15 years for SC/ST
- Additional provisions apply to eligible Ex-Servicemen and certain Railway employees.
- Age relaxation is subject to the conditions and certificates specified in the notification.
Application Fee
The examination fee is:
- ₹500 for candidates in the general fee category. ₹400 is refundable, after applicable bank charges, upon appearing in the CBT.
- ₹250 for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minority and eligible EBC candidates. ₹250 is refundable, after applicable bank charges, upon appearing in the CBT.
- The refund is applicable only to candidates who actually appear in the CBT.
- Fee payment is available through online modes such as internet banking, debit/credit cards and UPI.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists primarily of:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
The CBT is a single-stage computer-based examination. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CBT performance will be called for document verification, followed by the prescribed medical examination for eligible candidates.

The examination duration is 90 minutes for 100 questions. Eligible PwBD/PWD candidates using the scribe facility are given 120 minutes. The questions are objective multiple-choice questions. There is negative marking of 1/3 mark for every wrong answer.
The minimum qualifying marks specified are:
- UR/EWS – 40%
- OBC-NCL/SC – 30%
- ST – 25%
These are qualifying requirements; shortlisting is based on merit in the CBT subject to the applicable provisions.

Pharmacist
Major areas include Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Pharmacy Practice, Quality Assurance, Pharmacovigilance and other pharmacy-related subjects.
Radiographer X-Ray Technician
The syllabus covers Anatomy & Physiology, Radiology Physics, Radiation Physics, X-Ray Machines and Accessories, Image Processing, Clinical Radiography, Medical Ethics and Patient Care, Modern Imaging Modalities, Contrast/Special Radiography Procedures, Quality Control and Radiation Safety.
