Eligibility Criteria
For ITI Trade Apprentices
- Candidates should have:
- Passed 10th standard
- Passed ITI (National Trade Certificate – NTC) in one of the trades specified in the notification.
For Technician (Vocational) Apprentices
- Candidates should have passed Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the concerned discipline.
- The minimum age is 18 years as on 8 October 2026. Applicants must also satisfy the applicable physical standards under the Apprentices Act, Apprenticeship Rules and amendments.
Domicile Requirement
- The applicant must be a domicile of Kerala.
- Reservation will be applicable according to the Government of India rules.
- Apprenticeship Training Duration
- The duration of the apprenticeship training is one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in another organisation for any duration under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible to apply.
Selection Process
- Candidates will initially be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade.
- If two or more candidates have the same percentage of marks, relative merit will be determined based on seniority in age.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through their registered email ID and will have to attend certificate verification.
Candidates are required to produce documents including:
- Printout of the online application
- Original certificates proving age and qualification
- Caste certificate, where applicable
- Disability certificate, where applicable
- Self-attested copies of the relevant certificates
