The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Pathanamthitta has invited applications for the recruitment of Technical Expert Staff for Emergency Operation Centers (EOC) for the Sabarimala Pilgrimage Season 2026–27. The appointments will be on a temporary contract basis at EOCs located at Nilakkal, Pampa, Sannidhanam and the District Emergency Operation Center (DEOC), Pathanamthitta.
Approximately 30 vacancies are available. Eligible candidates with ITI, Diploma, Graduation or Post Graduation qualifications can apply. Freshers are also eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have any one of the following educational qualifications:
- ITI
- Diploma

Malayalam and English language proficiency is essential. Knowledge of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada is preferred.
Age Limit
Applicants should be between 18 and 40 years of age as on 1 October 2026.

Job Responsibilities
Selected Technical Expert Staff will support the functioning of Emergency Operation Centers. Duties include:
- Emergency coordination
- Real-time monitoring
- Communication
- Documentation
- Logistical support
- Emergency response
- Resource coordination
- Maintaining incident reports and logs
The work is field-based and requires continuous alertness, especially during peak pilgrimage days.
According to the agreement included in the notification, selected candidates may also be required to participate in training, briefings and drills and maintain digital/biometric attendance and prescribed records.
Salary / Remuneration
The remuneration is ₹1,000 per day, subject to change as per KSDMA decision.
